Hunter's first word!

Hunter said his first word last night! WOW!! I am just amazed at how quickly these little babies are turning into kids! So last night as I was dressing everyone in their jammies and getting them ready for bed, I heard a jingle. I looked up and saw a pair of black ears run past our front window. Hunter also saw the ears and heard the jingle, he ran over to the window and started shouting "da, da, da" and yes it was the dog! Hasslehoff (yes as in David) our escape artist had climbed the fence to his kennel and then climbed the fence out of the yard. Hunter was so excited that he got to go outside with me to call Hasslehoff back to our house and continued to say "da, da, da" to him.
So officially Hunter's first word is "da" translation "dog"

We are ONE!

One year ago today at this exact moment I was sitting in a hospital bed thinking that the 26th would be a good day to meet my 3 little monkeys and to find out what we were having (it was a surprise!) I was with my mom praying they would stay in long enough for Josh to come back from his job interview.....he got that job! they were impressed with his commitment considering we might be having babies that day! My little munchkins were delivered on July 26th, 2012 at 6:53, 6:54, 6:55PM at 34 weeks and 5 days! where we started.....

We got a puppy on one of our trips up to the Dr. We had to make sure our family was an even 8!
The babies liked to get into each other spaces especially Baby C-Maarii so my tummy was always crazy lopsided!
Me sitting in bed with my 6 pillows! I can't believe Josh still fit in bed with me!
My poor sad swollen feet!
A couple of days before I met my little ones!
Baby A- Gunner Edward born at 6:53pm, 5lbs 5oz, 18in long. My poor little squished baby on the bottom no wonder he loves it when his brother and sister sit on him!
Baby B- Hunter David born at 6:54pm, 5lbs 8oz, 19.75in long. My little baby on the left and right under my belly button he was so active and didn't like it when baby C would roll over on him when I laid on my left side. He had a cpap for extra oxygen the first couple of days.
Baby C- Maarii Louise born at 6:55pm, 5lbs 7.3oz, 18in long. My little baby on the high right that would wiggle and do backflips for the ultrasounds. She was then and still is very flirty for the camera!

Hunter walks

Hunter took his first steps on the 4th of July! He walked to me. Now he is walking everywhere, it's so funny to see my littlest guy wobbling around on those tiny little legs. He tries to go fast and ends up face first on the floor. He is getting steadier and walking everywhere now. He wants to keep up with Gunner who is practically running. Life with my triplets is getting more exciting by the day!

saying goodbye

On April 23 Josh's grandmother Lou passed away. We named our Maarii Louise after her, Lou was completely in love with her great grandchildren. We were able to take the triplets up to see her 3 or 4 times before she passed. She was 91 and lived a wonderful life! On July 7 we went to celebrate her life. It was a beautiful day, you could hear the water, the birds and the children laughing. She would have loved it. The triplets were wonderfully behaved considering we drove 4hrs each way to get there. They may not remember their great-grandmother but we will tell them about her.

our first fort

Today we built our first of many...forts! it was just a blanket over 2 of our pack n plays.....talk about free entertainment! We had a fort monster that liked to pull down the fort and laugh and laugh!
The other boy thought it was fun to peek around the corners then go in
My little princess wanted to race through it and watch the brothers destroy it
And they all loved that big brother played in the fort too!
That was our first fort!
